The Library Media Center has been a busy place here at WHS over the first semester. With over 5000 student visits, almost 1000 books circulated, and hundreds of lab slots booked by teachers the LMC was buzzing every day.
There are a lot of changes coming to the Library Media Center over the coming months. First and foremost is our shift from a Library Media Center to a Library Learning Commons. By definition a learning commons is a flexible space where learners can gather to share ideas, resources, and work together towards common learning goals.
Some of the changes towards the library becoming a Learning Commons will be small and hard to notice, others will be obvious right away. We invite you to become a part of this change as we evolve the way we learn and grow here at WHS.
