As we pause in January to remember Dr. Martin Luther King Jr take a moment to reflect on the power of words. Words are powerful and can be used for harm or good. Perhaps no person has used the power of words to bring about change than Dr. Martin Luther King.
Think about how this idea of powerful words has changed from Dr. King’s day to our current time. What would the Civil Rights movement look like if Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook were available? What would Dr. King’s Twitter feed have looked like? What words would be hashtags and what would be trending?
